Health authorities urged to contort Dengue

Deputy Commissioner Attock Imran Hamid Sheikh has directed health authorities and other relevant officers to take steps to control Dengue in the district. He said this while chairing a meeting in this context.

He said that Dengue was a deadly disease and strategy must be formulated to control this disease on permanent basis and all the relevant departments must submit a weekly report in this context.

He said that all residential areas must be visited and it must be ensured that there is no stagnant or accumulated water any where and if such situations exist any where then steps to taken to clear the area.

DC said, fog spray must be carried out as per the SOP and an awareness campaign must be kept continued.

Imran Hamid Sheikh said, people must cooperate in this context, must wear full sleeve shirts and use mosquito repelants.

As per the health authorities so for 95 patients suffering from Dengue have been reported during the last ten months and at present a few patients are admitted in DHQ Attock.
