UAE envoy for strategic relationship with Pakistan

Hamad Obaid Ibrahim, Salem Al-Zaabi, Ambassador of United Arab Emirates, had a meeting with the Pakistan-UAE Parliamentary Friendship Group in the Senate at the Parliament House on Wednesday.

Senator Muhammad Ayub, Convener of the Pakistan-UAE Friendship Group welcomed the UAE Ambassador and highlighted the need to translate the existing level of goodwill between the two countries to boost bilateral trade and enhance the frequency of parliamentary exchanges between UAE and Pakistan.

Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi noted that a strategic relationship was important to further improve socio-economic ties between the two countries.

The Ambassador underscored the need to develop strategic partnership to streamline trade opportunities and provide security to investors from both countries. He also shared the potential of tourism related investment in Pakistan.

Both sides agreed for calling a joint meeting of the friendship groups of the two countries to identify areas for enhancing Parliamentary cooperation to strengthen bilateral relations.
