The University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK) while keeping the tradition of the past alive, has decided to celebrate the foundation day of the AJK government on October 24 with national zeal and zest.
According to a press release issued by the Public Relations Department of the university on Monday, the UAJK has been consistently celebrating the national day since 2016 to keep the young generation connected with the freedom movement and its history.
On the occasion, the UAJK and Kashmir Liberation Cell will jointly organize a seminar on the theme of “Kashmir: A Continues Struggle”.
President AJK Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry will chair the first session of the seminar and in his absence, Chairman Parliamentary Kashmir Committee Shehryar Khan Afridi will preside over it.
The inaugural session will be addressed by Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, former Foreign Secretary.—INP
