Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO – Admin) Muhammad Sameer Monday said that a crackdown against property tax defaulters would be carried out from November 15.
The ETO told media, that Excise and Taxation Department had given September 30 deadline to clear their dues with 5% rebate on property tax but a number of residents failed to do this.
Sameer said that preparation of lists of defaulters of property and professional tax were in final stages and a grand operation would be launched from November 15 to recover the dues.
He asked the defaulters to clear the outstanding dues else no relaxation would be given to anyone and they would not only be penalized but also arrested.
