Strong quake jolts Swat, Malakand, Dir

Swat

A strong earth quake jolted many cities of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday. The earthquake was measured at 4.7 on Richter Scale and it shook the cities of Swat, Malakand, Upper Dir and adjoining areas.

The epicenter of the earthquake was the border area of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan and was recorded 180 kms under the ground.—INP
