The Vice Chancellor Sindh Agriculture University Tando Jam Dr. Fateh Mari has emphasized the need of adopting concrete measures in order to meet the challenges of food security and climate changes.
The world is suffering from hunger and food shortages and lack of resources as well as climate change which is causing negative impact on agricultural production, he said and added that increasing food shortages and growing poverty in Sindh, the majority of the population does not have access to adequate nutritional needs.
The Vice Chancellor expressed these remarks while addressing a simple but impressive ceremony of degree awarding to PhD Scholar Tauqeer Ahmed Sheikh here on Saturday.—APP
