Special Assistant to CM KP for Information and Public Relations Kamran Khan Bangash Saturday inaugurated the magnificent new building of Shaheed Haris Nawaz High School during a simple but impressive ceremony at DalaZak Road, Zaryab Colony part of his constituency in Peshawar.
Reconstruction of this govt high school has been completed in record time at a cost of Rs. 65 million.
In addition to the classrooms required to accommodate more students, two well equipped science laboratories, a spacious examination hall and a mosque is also included.
The function apart from the concerned officials of Education and Communication and Works Departments, school teachers, students, parents, local elite band PTI workers also participated in large number.
On the occasion, Kamran Bangash clarified that in Peshawar, facilities in all sectors including education, health and sanitation are being enhanced as well as schools, colleges and health centers are being brought in line with the requirements of modern times.
Similarly, in order to improve the environment of Peshawar, his govt besides plantation drives and setting up additional parks, concrete steps are also being taken to enhance the beauty of the city, he added.
“The zealous citizens of Peshawar had played a key role in bringing the PTI government to power for the second time in the last general elections and they would also make the PTI successful in the local body elections with a landslide mandate” he said.
Later, Kamran Khan Bangash inspected the building of Haris Nawaz Shaheed High School in detail.
He visited the ongoing classes in the school and met the students and teachers and inquired about their problems.
The local elders and students specially thanked the Special Assistant for Information and Higher Education Kamran Khan Bangash for meeting the long standing demand for reconstruction and rehabilitation of School.
