Since the start of the Fall 2021 semester, a few miscreants have successfully prevented the academic activities and damaged university infrastructure, destroyed senior Professors’ labs, beat unarmed security guards, etc., to derail the academic repute of the Quaid-I-Azam University. They were moreover issuing life threats openly to the faculty members.
The majority of the individuals involved in creating chaos at the Campus are either expelled students from the University or not students, but illegally living in hostels and enjoying clandestine support of those individuals and organizations against the QAU and Pakistan. That is why the nations’ Number-one University has been under attack.
Besides, these are recruiting centers. The illegal occupants drive for recruitment based on ethnicity in the name of Councils. This recruitment process has been gaining momentum for a few years. They even blackmail students for mustering their support. What they say in their defense, “raise in fees,” “library timing,” “buses schedules,”.
Even faculty supports their pragmatic demands, politically and economically. QAU faculty is determined to protect the legitimate rights of the students; even provide economic assistance to the needy genuine students. Therefore, at QAU, economically, no one suffers, provided he is focusing on his education.
