Two women were shot and killed in separate incidents in Sialkot. According to the police, on Saturday evening four persons namely, Mohsin, Murtaza, Imran and Allah Ditta stormed the house of Waqas in village Kot Mandiala, in the limits of the Sadder Sialkot police station, and shot his middle aged mother, Salimah Bibi, dead.
It is said that the deceased woman had verbally tried to stop the accused persons from selling narcotics in the village.
The accused fled from the spot after the murder however, the police have managed to arrest one of them, Allah Ditta.
The police have registered a case against all accused and started investigations. In the second incident, a young girl named Saba Bibi d/o Ehsanulla was on her by foot when three unidentified men shot her dead near the bridge of canal by village Sahowala, in the limits of the Sambrial police station, and escaped.
Any motive behind the murder was yet to ascertained. The police have registered a case against the unidentified accused persons and started investigations.
Meanwhile two persons were killed in as much traffic mishaps. According to the police, on Saturday evening a youth Ali Hamza and his friend were on their way on a motor cycle when a speeding car hit them near Adda Mahal, in the limits of the Sadder Sialkot police station, and as a result Hamza expired at the spot while his companion sustained injuries.
