Opposition senators on Friday claimed that the government is not serious about any reform agenda, targeting only opponent political parties and termed them thief and tief.
While the ministers and PTI senators asked the opposition for mature discussion based on facts and figure. The arguments against each other by government and opposition dominate in Upper House of parliament.
PPP leader Senator Sherry Rehman claimed that no practical steps were taken by the government in relation to its tall claim of people’s welfare reform agenda.
The govt has just made hue and cry of economic development while practically Pakistan became importer of all agricultural commodities, she claimed adding PPP achieved self-sufficiency in all major agriculture crops during his last tenure.
If there was record wheat crop in the country then why the government was doing massive import of the commodity, she questioned.
