The University of Gujrat organised a training workshop here at the District Police Office for women police officers deployed at recently opened Anti-Women Harassment and Violence Cell the other day.
Chairperson Psychology department Dr. Bushra Akram and Asst. Prof Dr Bushra Bibi were the resource persons of the workshop.
The Anti-Women Harassment and Violence Cells have been set up across the province to ensure protection of women and children from harassment and violence.
The psychologists from the UoG threw ample light on the importance of victim support during investigation and prosecution of cases of violence and abuse against women and children.
