Armed men attacked a convoy of Frontier Corps (FC) South soldiers in the Buleda region of Kech district on Thursday, martyered two soldiers and injured another.
Lance Naik Saboor and Sepoy Abdul Hakim were identified as the martyred soldiers.
The wounded soldier, was identified as Abdul Sattar.
According to official reports, security personnel quickly returned fire, but the attackers managed to flee.
The wounded soldier and their bodies were transported to a neighbouring medical facility.
A hand grenade was thrown at a police car patrolling the roadway near Kalat in another act of terrorism.
The explosive detonated beside the car, injuring two police officers and two other people.
Ghulam Hussain Bajoi, Kalat’s DSP, survived the grenade attack. He was sitting in the police car when the ezplosive detonated.
Two police officers and two civilians were wounded and transported to the Kalat district hospital.
Provincial Home Minister Ziaullah Langove condemned the attacks and promised that those responsible would be brought to justice.
