The Vice Chancellor University of Okara, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zakria Zakar, said that the university teaching is not merely a profession but a mission of social transformation through nurturing human behaviors. Addressing a dinner, organized in honor of the university staff and faculty to acknowledge their efforts for the infrastructural and academic development, Prof Dr Muhammad Zakria Zakar said that the university education is meant for inculcating in society the values like democracy, respect for rule of law, equality and empathy.
He said, “All the revolutions in the world history erupted from universities. Thus, the university teachers should focus on producing excellent human capital for the socio-economic improvisation of the country.”
