Crude oil prices edged up on Friday amid supply concerns and a weaker US dollar, as Opec+ kept policy unchanged at its ministerial meeting a day earlier, paving way for a back-to-back weekly gain.
At 1215 hours GMT, Brent, the international benchmark for two-thirds of the world’s oil, gained $0.43 (+0.59 percent) to reach $73.46 a barrel. Similarly, the US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) reached $70.24 a barrel, up by $0.25 (+0.36 per-cent).
The price for Opec Basket was recorded at $71.27 a barrel with 0.29 percent decrease, Arab Light was available at $73.81 a barrel —TLTP
