Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr Yousef Al-Othaimeen, condemned and denounced vehemently the terrorist Houthi militia’s attempted attack on Saudi Arabia’s Abha International Airport using two explosive-laden drones.
He stressed that “putting the lives of travelers and civilians at risk is a cowardly terrorist act and a war crime.”
He also condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist Houthi militia ballistic missile attack on Najran, praising the Saudi air defense for so ably intercepting and destroying it.
The Secretary General reaffirmed the support and solidarity of the OIC with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all its measures to address the terrorist Houthi militia practices, preserve its security and stability and ensure the safety of nationals and residents on its territory.
Dr Al-Othaimeen renewed the call on the international community to take a firm stand against repeated dastardly attacks perpetrated by Houthi militias using ballistic missiles and bomb-equipped drones, in a systematic and deliberate manner, against civilians and civil facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.—RP
