The Lahore Division Mass Wrestling Men and Women Trial was held on Sunday at National Weightlifting Club next to Punjab Stadium, Nishtar Park.
Aqsa Muhammad Hussain was selected for 55 kgs weight category of women, Iman Maqbool in 65 kgs, Zoiya Latif in 75 kgs, Nazki in 85 kgsand Amna Khan in 85-plus kgs. coach Hira was named for the team.
In men’s category, in 60kgs weight Muhammad Ali, in 65 kg Muhammad Ali Khan, in 70 kg Muhammad Wasim Akram, in 75 kg Shahbaz and Haris, in 80 kg Muhammad Usman, in 90 kg Muhammad Zubair, in 105kg Haseeb Akhtar, in 125kg Umair Khan, in 125kg Muhammad Aun while reserve players includes shahzadi Naz, Laraib Kaiynat, Abdullah Sohail Butt, Usman Aqeel Butt and Rehan Khan, Coach Daniel Aziz and Manager Prof Muhammad Nabil.
According to the announcement, President Lahore Division Aqeel Javed Butt, the training camp will continue for 5 days and the team will leave on September 4 for the 3rd Punjab Championship to be held inMailsi Vehari.
