Kazakhstan ambassador meets CDA chief, appreciates citizen-friendly projects

Photo exhibition held at PNCA to mark 30th Anniversary of  Kazakhstan’s independence

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Kistafin called on Chairman of the Capital Development Authority Amir Ahmed Ali and appreciated the authority’s citizens-friendly projects and efforts to restore the green character of Islamabad.

He also discussed plans and preparations for to celebrate 30th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries.

In a statement, the embassy said they also discussed prospects of cooperation between the capital regions of their countries.

During the meeting, the Ambassador laid out plans for celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Pakistan.

CDA Chief while thanking the ambassador for his interest and encouragement said the CDA looked forward to working with the embassy.

He also briefed the Ambassador on the unprecedented development work going on in Islamabad and invited the Kazakh businesspeople to invest in these projects.

Later, the embassy of Kazakhstan together with the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) organized an open photo exhibition to mark the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence.

A large number of visitors and art-lovers attended the exhibition and expressed their keen interest in the work put on display at the National Art Gallery.

It also featured the rich cultural heritage and development of Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan.

The residents and guests of Islamabad got the chance to enjoy the photos, demonstrating dynamic transformations in Kazakhstan, its historical monuments and picturesque natural resorts, along with the paintings of the world-known Kazakh Khans and great thinkers.

The honorary guest of the exhibition was Rabia Zakir, Adviser of the ruling party on culture and sports.

Counselor of the Embassy, Arman Tynybek noted in his welcome remarks that 2021 was a special year for entire Kazakhstan and currently people of the country are getting prepared to celebrate the anniversary of their Independence

Thanks to the significant efforts of the First President of Kazakhstan – Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev and all citizens, Kazakhstan demonstrates to the world its stability, peace-loving diplomacy, substantial achievements and inexhaustible potential, including the one in the domain of culture and art.
