The cryptocurrency market remained mixed on Sunday after remaining volatile a day earlier, and the market capitalisation increased by 0.2 percent to $2.03 trillion as of 1230 hours GMT.
The price of Bitcoin (BTC), the largest cryptocurrency, reached $45,893 after shedding 1.28 percent. The cryptocurrency witnessed profit-taking after hitting $48,152, the highest level since May 16, on Saturday. With this decrease in price, the market capitalisation of the BTC has reached $862.1 billion.
Likewise, ethereum (ETH) price shed 2.57 percent to reach $3,158. With this decrease in price, the market capitalisation of ETH has reached $369.7 billion.
Similarly, the price of Cardano (ADA) – now the third-ranked cryptocurrency after Bitcoin and Ether – fell to $2.11 with 2.64 percent decrease in its price.
Its market capitalisation has reached $68 billion after this decrease. Overall, it has been up 42.5 percent over the past seven days.
On the other hand, XRP gained 10.64 percent to reach $1.27. The market capitalisation of XRP stands at $127 billion after this increase. — TLTP
