A Leopard found at Donga Gali range area on Wednesday died after being caught by the local residents through covering up with blankets and tightening up with rope later died at police post Bakot.
Ghulam Ahmed range supervisor while talking to media told that when first time it was caught by the local peoples, the leopard was looking too lazy and had spent whole night at one spot in bushes and vescense (Jhaag) was seen from mouth and was not resisting.
The age of common leopard was around 8-9 months and it was suspected that had eaten something which turned into poison.
The dead body of the leopard was shifted from Bakot Police station to Abbottabad by the wild life department and later at Abbottabad samples were taken by the vete.rinary doctors and also by the wild life department to ascertain the exact cause of death.
