AS part of its tactics to divert attention of the world community from its illegal actions and crude human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir, India is once again raising the bogey of infiltration by Pakistan on the Line of Control (LoC).
Foreign Office spokesperson has done well by showing mirror to New Delhi on these allegations pointing out how Pakistan could infiltrate militants across the LoC when it was one of the most militarized zones in the world, with over 900,000 Indian security personnel posted there.
Indian motives behind these allegations are quite understandable as these come at a time when Pakistan and Kashmiris were focusing their efforts to sensitize the international community about sufferings of Kashmiris on completion of two years of illegal actions in the occupied territory.
A 12-member delegation of the OIC’s Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission (IPHRC) has been in Pakistan since last week and on Saturday it visited the LoC for a firsthand account of the situation.
Pakistan has nothing to hide and that is why it is allowing international neutral observers to visit the region but India has placed blanket restrictions on coverage of atrocities by its occupation forces on the other side of the LoC.
India is pursuing a policy of genocide and implementing plans aimed at bringing about demographic change in the disputed region and in a bid to camouflage its black deeds, New Delhi is resorting to the same old tactics to portray Pakistan as a ‘terror-sponsoring’ state and this conduct was evident from the latest allegations as well as manipulation of its presidency of the UNSC to further propaganda campaign against Pakistan.
But the world is aware of India running a smear campaign against Pakistan, as it had been exposed by the EU DisinfoLab’s report besides documentary proof provided by Pakistan in comprehensive dossiers on India’s involvement in acts of terrorism in Pakistan.
It is also a reality that India has installed layered barbed wire fences, security systems and electronic surveillance devices, making it impossible for anything to cross the LoC to enter the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) and that is why its own military leadership has repeatedly claimed that the so-called infiltration has been brought to almost zero.
As India is committing crimes against humanity in Occupied Kashmir, the proposal mooted by Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed that the OIC use a third country to help raise the Kashmir issue at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on the model of Rohingya genocide needs to be pursued rigorously.
