Security in Muharram

Law-enforcement agencies in the country are once again on high alert to ensure complete security during Muharram.

The system is being fine tuned at various levels and alert calls are accompanied by quick refresh regarding the annul assignment.

Religious leaders belonging to various sects and particularly those who will be hosting religious gatherings during the month are being asked to liaise closely with the police.

Law enforcement personnel must be on their toes and one step ahead of anyone with any adventurous ideas in their mind.

The arrest of a duo attempting to spread sectarian hatred is just another example of how keen such mischief makers are to utilize relatively new tools that are readily available to them.

Thus social media is another aspect that the police and other organizations must keep a close eye on for managing public events around the world is always exacting for law enforcement.

The idea is not to intimate, rather facilitate, the participating crowd and providing them with conducive and secured surroundings. In fact, security efforts must guard against laxity over several weeks.

Efforts need to sustain by regular monitoring, frequent checks, reinforcement and encouragement and most importantly from the high command.

Presently, though there may have been a drop in the acts of terrorism, this must not lead to any complacency in the ranks of the law enforcers obligating in good numbers.

In recent years, numerous incidents aiming to create disharmony among different sects have occurred previously.

No one should doubt the intent of the trouble makers and let there be no false sense of security just because these attacks have occurred at a distance from ‘home’ or “your city’- The security apparatus must be particularly vigilant during Muharram.

Quest of success

Every step, every move and purpose behind every effort is success, progress and change. We are too ambitious to achieve our targetted aim.

But in the quest of success, we forget to live life. Mistakes of the past and worries for the future snatch our present.

Though we have everything today, yet we forget to own our present. Different people have different criterion of success.

The question that lingers on is why are we often found engaged in this never-ending race and lust? Actually, success comes to those who believe in Allah and those who do believe in Allah live in their present.

They do their best and leave the rest on Allah. Tawaql should be adopted to be happy, contented and successful. A procrastinator thus stands miles away from success and seldom achieves good grades.

If one is not prepared to work hard, he should not expect good results in any walk of life. Most importantly, we must know the value of time for time is money.

The punctuality and economy of time leads to success and happiness. Life is too short to be wasted and there is so much to be done.

All great men and women have complained of shortness of life. One becomes great and successful just as one knows how to make best use of their time to succeed.

It is vital that we know our aim and choose our career or profession wisely. Be steady in your purpose and do one thing at a time.

Do not run after many things at a time. Concentrate on your aim and use all your energy. This is a great secret of success. Be a master of one instead of a jack of all trades.

Coronavirus
is a plague from God

Corona-virus is a plague from God. It is God’s wrath on His people for having sinned. It is mentioned in the Holy Bible.

This has also been foretold by Our Lady of Fatima to the three shepherd children of Portugal on October 13, 1917.

“If my people do not turn away from their wicked ways, I will send my wrath upon them”. We have taken God out of every area of our life and as a result of this, our country is in a tumult.

Chronicles 7:14 of the Holy Bible says, “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn away from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land.” Today, the world is full of sin and there is no repentance at all.

People are committing one sin after another.
All they keep saying is, “The world is doing it, so what is there if I also do the same.” They are listening to the devil who is trapping them because he (the devil) wants to take them to hell.

They are listening to the voice of the devil but are not listening to the voice of God who is telling them not to sin.

God’s voice is soft, the devil’s voice is harsh. “The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23) and we all know that.
