The cryptocurrency market extended losses on Thursday, with the market cap decreasing 0.4 percent to $1.63 trillion as of 1335 hours GMT.

The price of Bitcoin (BTC), the largest cryptocurrency, decreased to $37,873 by shedding 3.00 percent after hitting the $40,000 mark. With this decrease in price, the market capitalisation of the BTC has reached $711.1 billion.

However, ethereum (ETH) price turned towards north and gained 0.19 percent to reach $2,615. With this increase in price, the market capitalisation of ETH has reached $305.9 billion. On the other hand, XRP shed 1.25 percent to reach $0.711. The market capitalisation of XRP stands at $71 billion after this decrease.

Similarly, Cardano (ADA) price reached $1.35 with a 1.19 percent decrease in its price. Its market capitalisation has reached $43.5 billion after this decrease.

Likewise, Dogecoin (Doge) price depreciated by 2.10 percent to reach $0.196. With this decrease in price, the market capitalisation of Doge reached $25.5 billion.—TLTP
