Keeping in view of alert by Pakistan Metrological Department GOP, Regarding Super Cyclone Storm “ Kyarr” causing rise in sea level affecting nearby villages Rehri, Goth and Chashma Goth at Coastal Belt of Sub Division Ibrahim Hyderi Malir Karachi.
The Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Shallwani along with AC Ibrahim Hyderi Farooq Soomro¡ Mukhtiarkar Khalid Lund, Rizwan Abbasi focal Person Malir District and others personally visited the affected sites of Sub Division Ibrahim Hyderi and directed the DC Malir and respective AC to immediately set up relief camps and provide temporary shelter to the affected people of the respective areas/villages.
The Commissioner Karachi iftikhar Shallwani visited the areas/villages of Chashma Goth, Dabla Para,Rehri Goth, Lath Basti and Ibrahim Hyderi areas and adjoining parts of the affected placed where water came to affect the villagers and their belongings.
Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Shallwani has also directed the DHO, Malir Municipal Commissioner. Chief Officer District Council and DEO Primary Malir to deploy their staff and provide relief to the people at temporary shelter relief camp.
The 4 temporary relief camps were declared by DC Malir on Tuesday and set up at 1.
