CS reviews implementation status of Punjab govt’s ADP 2021-22

Punjab Chief Secretary Jawad Rafique Malik on Tuesday chaired the review meeting on provincial government’s Annual Development Plan (ADP) 2021-22.

The meeting held at Planning and Devel-opment Department Lahore focused on reviewing Punjab’s Development profile and, in particular, the status of ADP 2021-22 in perspective of the allo-cated budget, releases and utilization.

Expressing his satisfaction with the current status of projects, the Chief Secretary Punjab urged the De-partments to continue with focused efforts in their sectors to ensure proper utilization of public funds.

Jawad Rafique Malik applauded the efforts of the Planning and Development Board for stepping ahead in streamlining the procedures.

He expressed his satisfaction with the performances of Commis-sioners and Deputy Commissioners for implementa-tion of work under the Guidelines of CM Punjab.

Secretary P&D Imran Sikandar Baloch briefed that against 4,686 un-approved schemes at the beginning of the Financial Year, 4,046 schemes had been ap-proved till August 2, 2021.

It was also informed that Finance Department had released 100% funds allo-cated for On-going schemes.
