Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Tuesday predicted that the PML-N has been on the course to fall apart into ‘N’ and ‘S’ Leagues as both factions are at loggerheads for their vested interest.
“Maryam Safdar is playing the role of agent provocateur to snatch party from her aging uncle but she has forgotten that voters are disgruntled with the Sharif family and they have shown their distrust against the PML-N narrative in every election held in GB, AJK and PP-38 Sialkot by-poll.”
Special Assistant to CM Dr Firdous Ashiq expressed the view while addressing a press conference flanked by Punjab Minister for Higher Education Raja Yasir Humayun at DGPR Office here on Tuesday.
The SACM was of the view that promotion of education, IT and innovation are some of the priority areas of the PTI-led government, adding that the PTI is committed to revamp the educational institutions through sustained holistic reforms.
“For this purpose, colleges and universities are being upgraded and strengthened through funding for encouraging research in higher education institutions.
This would help to rectify the malpractices meted out to the education sector in the past”, she pointed out.
Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan claimed that political tree of PML-N has been uprooted in Sialkot as people have fed up with the party’s negative narrative.
“The political circus of Maryam Safdar is ended by political mercenaries and voters have refused to give their vote to PML-N which always speaks against the country.
The disgust of the people towards PML-N is visible in every constituency,” she said and declared that she along with Ahsan Saleem Baryar and PTI leadership dented the PML-N fort in Sialkot.
Dr Firdous said that Maryum has quarantined herself to avoid her spade of defeats everywhere.
The skirmish between the crafty uncle and equally stubborn niece is going on with full speed which will result in their mutual destruction.
She said the new Kashmir Assembly has laid the foundation of change and this positive change will also benefit the oppressed Kashmiris living across LOC. This political change will help Kashmiris to get rid of the propaganda of Modi regime against them.
Pakistan and Kashmir are conjoined twins and this mutual relation will become stronger with each passing day, she said.
To a question, the Special Assistant said that Zardari and PML-N marriage of convenience has ended in a fiasco.
However, PML-N is trying to attack PTI to weaken Zardari but Zardari has preferred to remain silent in the backdrop of the strong Pakistan-centric narrative of PM Imran Khan.
The PTI is going to exert its political position in Sindh and soon PTI will host its flag in Sindh to help Sindhis get rid of PPP’s corrupt regime, concluded the SACM.
