The former Vice Chairman Punjab Bar Council Shah Nawaz Ismail was booked after law degree turned out to be fake, the police said.
According to details, Additional Secretary Punjab Bar Council (PbBC) Rafaqat Ali has registered a case against former vice chairman Shah Nawaz Ismail at Civil Lines Police Station. The police have included provisions of forgery and fraud in the case.
According to media reports, not the law degree of Shah Nawaz Ismail Gujjar turned out to be fake but it is also learned that the accused has only completed his middle school education. It is to be noted that Shah Nawaz Ismail had contested several elections as a senior lawyer for a long time.
An FIR has been registered in Civil Lines Police Station Lahore on the complaint of the Additional Secretary, Punjab Bar Council.
