Says have come out to save democracy, constitution

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, addressing the participants of Azadi March here on Monday said that they would enter Islamabad like a storm.
The Maulana said that the people from across the country are participating in Azadi March. “The people are on roads and the cruel government cannot run for long,” he said.
The marchers have crossed Rahim Yar Khan when the last reports came.
The JUI-F chief said that he thanks all opposition parties for supporting Azadi March. “The rulers have complicated the Kashmir issue. They should not shed tears on Kashmir and deceive the Kashmiris,” he said, reports a news channel.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the PEMRA had ordered anchor to sit in the channel, which is an attack on the independence of journalism. “People from all walks of life are feeling difficulty. They have become a security risk. We have only approached the masses,” he said.
Meanwhile, when Azadi March entered Punjab it was accorded a rousing welcome at several places. Several groups joined Azadi March.
The caravan coming from Balochistan reached Dera Ghazi Khan and it will merge with Azadi March in Multan.
The motorway police dedicated one lane of the National Highway for the caravan of Fazl to proceed. Hundreds of buses, cars and vehicles joined the march on Monday.
Containers placed on the borderline between Punjab and Sindh were removed for the marchers and the demonstrators, holding party flags, were chanting slogans against the government.
