Buzdar for keeping world institutions aware about Indian atrocities

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said on Sunday that it was very important to keep international institutions aware of the atrocities being inflicted on the innocent Kashmiris of Indian Occupied Kashmir.
He said this while addressing a ceremony held in connection with the Black Day (India’s illegal occupation of held Kashmir), here at CM office.
It is pertinent to mention here the Punjab government has started a campaign to expose violence which Indian forces were committing on innocent people of held Kashmir for the last 7 decades.
Usman Buzdar started a one million signature campaign regarding the held Kashmir by clicking a button on the computer and signing a petition.
The petition comprising one million signatures would be presented to the United Nations Human Rights Commission on December 10.
The campaign would be run online as well under the auspices of the Information department.
Usman Buzdar said that curfew in Indian Occupied Kashmir had been imposed for the last 12 weeks and the silence of international community in this regard was lamentable.
He said, 8 million Kashmiris had been restricted to homes through a curfew. The Chief Minister said that entire nation was with Kashmiri brethren and demanded the international community to play its role in stopping the genocide of Kashmiris besides lifting of lockdown from the IoK.
Punjab Law Minister, MPAs and others were also present on the occasion.
A special ceremony was being held to plant a sapling on the eve of observing Black Day in Occupied Kashmir at CM office. Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar planted Kashmir Freedom Tree at CM Office and prayed for the progress, prosperity, stability and liberation of Occupied Kashmir. Usman Buzdar and other participants in the ceremony expressed complete solidarity with the Occupied Kashmiri people by tying up black bands on their arms.
The participants expressed vigorous protest against India for violating human rights in Occupied Kashmir. Usman Buzdar said that no power in the world can separate Pakistan from Kashmir and protests are being lodged against Indian oppression in every nook and corner. The policy of tyranny and brutality being adopted by Modi government in Occupied Kashmir has utterly failed. We are standing steadfast with the Kashmiri brothers and sisters like a solid rock, he added.
Head of Special Provincial Kashmir Committee and Law Minister Raja Basharat, Members Provincial Assembly Uzma Kardar, Mahinder Pal Singh, Naseer Ahmed, Sajid Ahmed Khan, Principal Secretary to CM, Secretary Forest, secretary Information, DGPR, staff of CM Office and other persons also participated in the ceremony.
Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar while felicitating Hindu Community on the eve of Dewali Festival said that we equally participate in the festivities of Hindu community. Participation in each others celebrations increases love, brotherhood and tolerance, he added.
Dewali Festival gives us an opportunity to reiterate our resolve that we should promote religious harmony, he stressed. All citizens have equal rights in New Pakistan and Hindu community residing in Pakistan has played an important role in the progress and prosperity of the country. If we participate in each others festivities then it will give widespread message of brotherhood and peace, concluded Usman Buzdar.
