Deputy Director Agriculture (Extension) Kasur, Ahmed Naveed Amjad Wednesday said that 215,000 Kissan cards were distributed so far among farmers in the district.
While talking to APP, he said that the registration process was ongoing with the help of HBL Konnect (digital app).
Farmers as well as fertilizer dealers could register with the department to get subsidy on agri-products,he said.
The official said that registered farmers should visit HBL Konnect outlets to open their account and apply for Kissan card after biometric verification.
He highlighted that farmers could get upto Rs.1000 subsidy on each bag of DAP; Rs 1000 subsidy on cotton and other seeds; fertilizers as well as agri-implements.
