Srinagar
In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) has termed the rejection of bail plea of its illegally detained Chairman, Shabbir Ahmad Shah as judicial terrorism.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the DFP spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said, granting bail is the right of every prisoner and this right is further strengthened when no charges have been proved against a political prisoner like Shabbir Shah despite his continued imprisonment.
He said, since not a single evidence has so far been proved against Shabbir Shah, the judiciary should have taken cognizance of it and release him.
But on the contrary, the Indian judiciary is repeatedly rejecting Shabbir Shah’s bails and in this way, it supports the whims of the investigating agencies, he added.
The spokesman said, it is unfortunate that the judiciary does not see the inconvenience caused to Shabbir Shah by his continued imprisonment.—INP
