The residents of Islamabad should be glad to learn that a new political party has taken birth to resolve their civic, administrative and economic issues and according to the chairman of the new party “Tehreek-e-Islamabad” (TI), Rashid Malik it will be different from other parties as the common people and women will be empowered in the real sense of the word by this party.
The party office bearers Rashid Malik Chairman Javed Malik President and Asma Malik Secretary General were of the view that time had come to introduce politics of real issues in Islamabad.
The establishment of the party was announced after a meeting of its office-bearers and workers at the residence of renowned social leader Rashid Malik at DHA. In the meeting the issues of Islamabad were discussed in detail.
It was decided to form a political party in the name of and the following office bearers were unanimously elected.
The other office bearers of the party are: Senior Vice Chairman Sajid Chaudhry, Vice Chairman Amir Fida, Senior Vice President Naveed Sharif, Vice Presidents Mudassar Fayyaz, Wasim Advocate, Noman Ahmed, Deputy Secretary General Fauzia Ayub, Information Secretary Urooj Malik , Secretary Finance Rizwan Sial and Joint Secretary Legal Affairs Tahir Mahmood Advocate.
The names of the members of the Working Committee will be announced later, said a statement issued by the TI on Monday.
Later, Tehreek-e-Islamabad Chairman Rashid Malik said that the aim of the party was to resolve the problems of Islamabad especially water crisis, rising unemployment, problems of CDA and FGEHA, education, new business, cottage industry, modern livestock.
Special measures will be taken to curb the growing drug addiction in livestock, agriculture, environment and young generation.
