Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has issued around 36 licences, during a nine-month period, aimed at promoting the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) sector and ensuring provision of the environment-friendly fuel across the country espe-cially in far-flung areas at controlled rates through-out the year.
The authority, from July-March 2021, granted one licence for construction of LPG production facility, nine for operation of LPG Storage & Filling Plants, 20 for construction of LPG Storage and Filling , besides five for construction of LPG auto refueling stations and one for operation of LPG Auto Refuel-ing Station, according to an official document avail-able with APP.
