In order to maintain peaceful atmosphere in the district and protection of lives, properties and honour of the people, district administration, police and other law enforcement agencies are alert round the clock while in view of present situation in the country, interfaith harmony, tolerance and brotherhood among ulema belongs to different schools of thought is vital so that anti-social element cannot succeed in sabotage peaceful atmosphere.
This was stated by the Deputy Commissioner, Hafizabad, Norish Saba and District Police Officer Muhammad Masoom while addressing the meeting of District Peace Committee and Interfaith Harmony Committee, Hafizabad, on Saturday.
Members of the committees, local ulema, president Bar Asghar Ali Bhatti, representatives of traders attended the meeting.
