Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Monday declared that anarchistic politics cannot prevail over the country as such elements are following the enemy’s agenda.
“The opposition is frustrated and can no more befool the people,” Usman Buzdar said, adding that Pakistan has put on the way forward towards development under PM Imran Khan.
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar was talking to MPAs from Gujrat including Chaudhry Liaqat Ali, Saleem Sarwar Jora, Mian Muhammad Akhtar Hayat and Muhammad Arshad Chaudhry who called on him on Monday. They extended felicitations to him for presenting a public-friendly budget.
The provincial budget is an important document for ensuring composite development at the grassroots and the district development package will be the beginning of a new era of development, they added.
The chief minister said the PML-Q is an ally and relations with the allies are stronger than before.
“There is the best relationship with the allied party and the government is taking it along in the decision-making process,” he emphasised.
He said that the government is working hard for the resolution of public problems and doors of his office are open to all.
“There was a one-man show in the past but I take everybody along and decisions are being made with mutual consultation,” the CM concluded.
Meanwhile, MPAs including Gulraiz Afzal, Muhammad Tariq Tarar and PTI leader Nadeem Afzal Chan called on Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and discussed matters of mutual interests.
Usman Buzdar repeated that realistic targets have been identified in the budget according to public needs.
It is not a jugglery of words and figures but a document of balanced development vision according to public aspirations.
Similarly, the indigent strata have been given relief and economic indicators are also positive due to the policies of the government, he said.
On the other hand, Punjab Energy Minister Dr Akhtar Malik met with Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and appreciated relief-oriented steps in the Punjab budget.
The CM said the new budget manifests aspirations of the people and the government has tried to facilitate the citizens within resources.
He said steps have been taken to curtail unnecessary expenditures and public needs are prioritized in the development program.
Meanwhile, MPA Kh Muhammad Dawood Sulemani called on Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and expressed his complete trust over the leadership of CM. You are my leader and Punjab is developing under your leadership, he said.
The CM assured to solve constituency related problems and added that the party is fully united under the leadership of PM Imran Khan.
The desires of the opposition will not be fulfilled as looters cannot deceive the people, he said.
Propaganda based politics is the favourite modus operandi of opposition but its narrative has been badly exposed, the CM maintained.
Meanwhile, CM Usman Buzdar expressed a deep sense of sorrow over the death of former Senator Usman Khan Kakar.
In a statement, the CM extended sympathies to the heirs and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar sought a report from RPO Bahawalpur about an incident of molestation of a girl student in Ahmedpur East.
