On the directions of Chief Executive Officer LWMC Ms. Rafia Haider, the department took notice and disengaged the services of 97 workers.
As per the spokesperson the notification is issued on account of unauthorized long absent from duty. These 97 workers were appointed in different towns and head office.
These ghost workers were appointed on different seats and getting salaries while not performing their official duties. CEO LWMC Ms. Rafia Haider stated that department is following zero tolerance policy and this is being implemented across the board without any discrimination.
Further action will be taken against absentees and will be helpful in identifying ghost workers and other irregularities in system and subsequently will lead to improve the performance of sanitary crew, all ghost workers and absences will be dealt on strict basis giving a zero tolerance margin of endurance.
