The Vice-Chancellor of University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kaleem Abbasi has undergone surgery for a hernia at a hospital here on Wednesday.
He has been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Abbas Institute of Medical Sciences where his health is satisfactory after the surgery.
Earlier on Wednesday morning, Vice-Chancellor Abbasi was shifted to Abbas Institute of Medical Sciences after suffering from a hernia, where he was operated upon by eminent surgeon of the hospital, Prof. Dr Zaid Afzal Kayani while Anesthesiologist Dr Mushtaq and his team assisted.
