Federal Board of Revenue clarifying a press report on Wednesday said the story published in newspaper conveys an impression of divergence of views between Federal Minister for Finance & Revenue and FBR Officers during visit of Finance Minister in FBR headquarters on the subject of possible revenue generation through integrated Point of Sales retailers.
FBR has clarified that there was complete harmony between the minister and FBR in determination of goals and objectives to achieve revenue target of the coming fiscal year, broadening of tax base, evolving of future strategy to increase revenue through integration & monitoring of POS linked retailers and other basic contours of future work to get off the ground from first of July, 2021.
