Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib on Sunday said that the PTI government is committed to progress and prosperity and revolutionary measures have been proposed for providing relief to the deprived segments of society.
Addressing a press conference in Faisalabad on Sunday, the state minister said the government has presented an excellent budget and huge funds have been allocated for the welfare projects.
He said allocation for Ehsaas Program has been increased from Rs210 billion to Rs260 billion and more beneficiaries have been registered for the programme through a transparent survey.
He said Kamyab Pakistan program is being introduced to support four to six million families. The Minister of State said ten big dams are being constructed to provide ten thousand megawatt electricity.
Meanwhile, as many as 13783 more people including health worker were administered anti-corona vaccine at designated 34 vaccination centre, taking the total number of people vaccinated so far in the district to 0.4 million. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali informed reporters that vaccination centres are working at Allied Hospital, District Headquarters Hospital, Govt General Hospital, GM Abad, Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology, Govt General Hospital Samanabad, Children Hospital, Sports Complex Samanabad, Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Jaranwala, Samundri, Tandlianwala, Chak Jhumra, Sports Complex Chak Jhumra, Sports Complex Jaranwala, Govt General Hospital Chak 224/Rb, New building RHC Khurrianwala, New building THQ Sammundri, New building THQ Tandlianwala, Social Security Hospital MadinavTown, Wapda Hospital, Rural Health Centres Mureed Wala, Chak 174/JB, Chak 134/JB, 229/Rb, 65/Gb, RHC Lundianwala Jaranwala, RHC Khurrianwala Jaranwala, Pindi Sheikh Musa, Kanjwani, Mamukanjan, RHC 400/Gb, RHC 153/Rb, RHC at 374 and 469/Gb.
