Senior PML-N leader and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has termed the federal and Punjab governments the most corrupt governments. Talking to newsmen in Lahore on Tuesday, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the government is not ashamed of yesterday’s huge train accident.

The PML-N leader demanded probe to find where the money that was supposed to be spent on the repair of the railway tracks. ‘The budget allocated to repair the railway tracks is gone due to corruption,’ he said.

Abbasi said that PM Imran Khan did not even come to the National Assembly for five minutes. ‘The role of the Opposition is to raise the problems and issues of the people,’ Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said.

He expressed his doubts on the probe commission because he believed commissions usually downplay the matters. He also commented that the defence budget has been decreased by 30 percent.—INP
