As many as 12873 more people have been vaccinated, taking the number of people vaccinated so far to 302,037 in 19 centres of the district.
The people vaccinated so far include 289,573 general public and 30,436 health workers.
District Health Officer Dr Ata ul Moenum informed that 234,579 general public had administered first doze and 54994 have been given second jab so far.
He further informed that 17,973 and 12,463 health workers have been administered first and second jab respectively. He informed that 15 new vaccination centres will open, which include Rural Health Centres to provide people of rural areas with opportunity to get vaccinated.
