Punjab health minister Dr Yasmin Rashid on Friday said that the provincial government is determined to vaccinate 70 million people against coronavirus till the end of this year.
In a statement, she said that the district administration has set a target to vaccinate over 0.4 people on daily basis. So far, 11 percent population in Punjab has administered coronavirus vaccine, she told.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 1,893 persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.
Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths and cases followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
