Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Assembly and PML-N vice-president Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said that the price hike index touched 21 per cent in April 2021; rulers has destroyed country’s economy.
He expressed these views while talking to the media men during his visit to house of deceased party MPA Khush Akhtar Subhani in Sialkot.
He expressed sorrow that the price hike and inflation had broken the backbones of the poor and middle classes, and people were forced to commit mass suicides due to hunger and unemployment.
He noted that prices of all basic needs including atta, rice, pulses, sugar, edible oil, electricity, gas, petrol had gone out of the purchasing power of the common man ever since PTI was installed into power.
