National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal on Friday said that nowadays aggressive and systematic propaganda against the anti-graft watchdog is going on and those who do not know the constitution were criticizing the NAB law.
Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Friday, he said that the Supreme Court has reviewed the NAB laws in Asfandyar Wali case and the apex court didn’t declare the NAB law illegal or unconstitutional.
Earlier, an important meeting of NAB was held under the chairmanship of Chairman NAB in which it was informed that anti-graft agency has filed 14 corruption references in fake accounts cases in accountability courts.
It was briefed in the meeting that the looted Rs 23 billion have been recovered under the leadership of the NAB chairman.
