ASF foils bid to smuggle ice drug

The Airport Security Force (ASF) on Tuesday foiled the attempt of smuggling ‘ice drugs’ worth millions of rupees from New Islamabad Airport to Qatar.

The ASF has arrested the passenger who wanted to travel to Qatar on QR-633 flight. ASF checked the luggage of the accused passenger where they found 6kg of ‘ice drugs’ worth millions of rupees. The ice drugs were hidden in a trolley bag.

ASF Spokesperson said that the accused has now been handed over to Anti-Narcotics forces (ANF) for further legal action.
