Upon the special directions of the Chairman Capital Development Authority, help line has been issued for protecting water from wastage.
Citizens can report the leakage of water anywhere any time. Inquiry offices for water tankers supply are functional in all the sectors. 25 water tankers are available for water supply to citizens.
Number of tube wells has been increased to 155. Twenty-eight new filtration plants are being installed across the city.
According to detail, the administration of CDA is committed for ensuring the water supply to citizens.
Help line No. 0335-7775444 has been issued to control water wastage. Citizens will be able to register their complaints regarding water leakage on this number. Workers of water supply department will take prompt action on complaints of the citizens.
Water level is down in dams, therefore water supply is being ensured while taking all the precautionary measures against water wastage.
20 million gallon water is being taken from dams on daily basis. Monsoon rains will resolve the issue of low water level in dams.
Resultantly, more water will be supplied. Issue of two million gallon water leakage has been resolved in Seven MGR.
Old water lines will be replaced in various areas in coming days. 04 million gallons water has also been saved by resolving the leakage issue in the pipelines.
Number of tankers has been increased to 26 from 15 to ensure the supply of water to citizens during the Holy Month of Ramazan.
Out of order tube wells have been made functional. Number of tube wells has been increased to 165. Inquiry offices at various sectors can be contacted regarding water tankers.
