The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) successfully collected Rs10.07 billion in the month of April, which 70.7% higher than the revenue of Rs.5.9 billion collected in the corresponding period of last year.
Overall PRA revenue for the first 10 months stands at Rs117.4 billion as compared to Rs85.5 billion generated last year, showing an increase of 37.2% in revenue generation.
According to the PRA spokesperson, this is a significant increase considering the country is going through the third wave of Covid 19. The authority is hopeful about achieving its target for FY 2020-21.
In his remarks, the PRA chairperson praised the efforts of the officers and paid credits to the vision of the Finance Minister and the Punjab Govt for giving the right direction with a vision of generating favourable results.
