In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL) has expressed concern over the deteriorating health condition of political leaders lodged in different jails of India and the territory and urged for their release in view of the rapid spread of COVID-19 cases in jails
The JKPL spokesman, Sayar Ahmad in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the party is extremely worried about the scores of jailed political prisoners. “Silence, especially of the human rights organisations, is worrying,” he added.
