In a bid to promote domestic tourism, the national carrier has launched another initiative of direct flight from Lahore to Gilgit Baltistan.
The first flight will be operated from Lahore to Gilgit on May 18 and the second flight on May 22. The PIA will operate two weekly flights scheduled on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
PIA ATR aircraft, the capacity of 48 economy class seats, will be operated from Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore to Gilgit Airport. Previously, PIA had launched flights from Lahore to Skardu Airport.
