The Punjab Prisons department has imposed ban on visits to inmates in Lahore jails the decision was taken to stop the spread of corona. The accused will not be produced in court due to the threat of Corona.
The letter issued by the Punjab Home Department was sent to the Inspector General of Prisons, according to which visits to jails were banned in districts with more than 8% cases, while appearances of accused in courts with more than 15% cases were also banned.
