Attique hails Trump’s mediation offer

Former AJK prime minister Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan has welcomed the US President Donald Trump’s offer to Pakistan on mediating the Kashmir dispute that keeps relations between neighboring nuclear powers – Pakistan and India. Talking to Pakistan Observer in his Rawalpindi residence Tuesday he said that the US is in a strong position to help resolve 72-year-old bloody dispute over Jammu and Kashmir. This dispute is alive despite UN Security Council’s Kashmir solution resolutions of 1948 and 1949 accepted and signed both by Pakistan and India as parties to this imbroglio. Replying a question he asserted that it was United States that got resolved the 400-year.
